M1 Junction 20 Northbound Entry Slip Works
Highways England will be carrying out essential maintenance work on M1 junction 20 Northbound Entry Slip.
This work is to deal with a safety critical tree defect. Once completed, all road users will benefit from improved road safety.
When will the work take place? This work with take place overnight between 8:00pm and 5:00am from Thursday 10th June 2021 to Friday 11th June 2021.
Please note that all planned roadworks may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
How will the work affect traffic? To maintain a safe environment for our workforce and customers, a full slip road
closure is necessary to complete all tasks. The following closures will be in place during this time.
• Full closure of the M1 junction 20 Northbound Entry Slip
During these closures, we will put in place fully signed diversion routes which have been agreed with the Local Authority. We respectfully ask that all vehicles follow the
diversion route which will help minimise the overnight disturbance experienced by the communities in the surrounding area.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum.
