A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
Franks Road, Walcote. The purpose of the TTRO is
to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate gully works.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

Trading Standards has received reports of traders in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area of the county cold calling residents offering drive way work.
Whilst you may have received a 'good price' and been advised that work can start straight away, be on guard. Traders often working in this way can over charge, prices increase and the work is often substandard.

The waterproofing works being carried out on the M1 north bridge at junction 20, Lutterworth was booked in for 4 weekends during April and May but, due to the excellent weather over this last weekend, all outstanding work for this scheme has been completed and the other weekends that Highways England had planned into its timetable will not be required.

You will doubtless be aware of the forthcoming closures of the north overbridge at M1 Junction 20. These closures will be in effect on the following Saturdays; April 17th & 24th and May 8th & 15th.
During the course of these closures, Centrebus 58 will be unable to serve Walcote travelling in the direction of Market Harborough.
