Coronavirus mobile testing unit opens in Lutterworth

A temporary coronavirus mobile testing unit has opened at Lutterworth Sports Centre car park.

Unlike the Market Harborough walk-through site, this will be a drive through unit. As is standard process, tests will be offered by appointment only, so that the queues to the site are limited.

The government has confirmed that South Leicestershire (both Blaby & Harborough Districts, as well as the wider county and City of Leicester) will be placed in Tier 3 'Very High'.

This will be effective from 2nd December when national lockdown restrictions end.
